Why am I taking on this journey?

It’s been a life-long dream to take on this journey.  I traveled and lived in few places and I always encountered, good people, who taught me about life and humanity.  Just like the majority of the population, I went to school, university and entered the corporate world.  I’ve always had discussions with friends about today’s society.  And I always questioned today’s life.  I am hoping to live in this journey without any restrictions of time, without most of the material things that I’ve been conditioned to expect, and without any plans and just live day to day without thinking about the future.   I truly believe that travel opens the mind, the heart and the imagination.

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.” – Mark Twain.

You are a very brave and strong individual. How many of us have dreamed of doing what you are doing but were too afraid to take the challange. I too have thought of doing this for a long time. It’s just so hard to get out of that “comfortable” rut.
Congratulations and have fun, but I doubt if I need to tell you that!

Bravo on having the courage to answer the Wanderlust in your heart. I feel that we have a little bit of kindred spirit as I too have a draw to the Wanderlust and adventure. I am either lacking the courage or just doing mine on a smaller scale.

I pray that one day our paths will cross again and maybe we can share the road for awhile. Happy and healthy travels, my friend.

What is it that you are doing and where are you going?

I am just going to travel around many places. Learn about people and culture. I know my next destination will be Taiwan. After that, I will decide as where to go next. A plan, sounds like a corporate jargon 🙂

You’re actually going for it, eh? This is one of the things I always admired you for; taking that extra step that many others fear to take . . me included. I know though this is something you’ve been thinking about for quite some time. So, I’m glad you’ve made up your mind. Well, I wish you a very joyful and rich discovery and stay safe. Keep posting your observations, experiences and whatever comes to mind here. We need to know where you are and what you’re up to all the time. BTW, when will your journey start? Really envy you 🙂

    Hi Man,
I haven’t words to describe the wondering pictures you have captured; I think the world has a lot of amazing nature not getting yet.
Be with our Creator to be in safe side.
